PLEASE TAKE ADDITIONAL NOTES FOR LESSON 6 SUCH AS LIST OF 6 CHARACTERISTICS OF METALS.
For Tues., please read Lesson 6, write vocab and definitions in your notebook. Go over the "What Did We Learn?" questions on page 29 with a parent as well as "Taking It Further". Don't forget to read page 30. Complete the Reactivity worksheet. We will do the experiment in class Tuesday. Look at the experiment on p32. Have the materials to do it at home starting Tues. the 21st. THE EXPERIMENT TAKES 3 DAYS. I want you to bring it to class on FRIDAY 24th to discuss the results.
For Friday the 24th we will have a quiz on the first 9 elements from our list. Start reviewing the old and learning the 3 new ones.
FOR PARENTS: most boys did well on our quiz especially since we reviewed right before taking it. It is vital to be in class ON TIME. I cannot wait for those who arrive late. Thank you
