FOR PARENTS: We managed to accomplish everything I'd hoped in class today, so thanks for everyone being on time and eager. The boys cooperated with the lecture portion so we could get to the experiment at the end of class. Good job! (Suggest doing the Lesson on Wed., the summary and write up on Thur. and study the elements both days)
For Friday, study the 9 elements from Actinium to Boron. We will have a 10pt quiz with one vocab word from Lesson 8. Extra Credit will be a fun fact, a different vocab word, or anything from a previous lesson.
Also read Lesson 8, write your vocab words + definitions, plus any additional notes from important info in this lesson. Do the "What Did We Learn" questions with a parent.
I need 1/2 page (not just 5 sentence paragraph) summary on Hydrogen Fuel Cells p 37. Make sure to pick out all important facts. For extra credit do additional online research, avoid using Wikipedia, give me different info from our book, and list your source at the bottom of the page. Minimum full page for extra credit points.
