PARENTS: the boys have all received a little bag of Miracle Grow. Mix it with 1 gallon of water to apply to one of the two plants needed for the fertilizer experiment. Start this ASAP but the results will not be due until Dec. 10th. This should give your plants ample time to grow.
Complete the decomposition experiment p107. This takes minimal set up. Write up per our usual format.
The boys should be spending time reading up on their scientist to prepare for the outline and bibliography due Dec 3rd. Please do not wait until the night before to try to complete this assignment. I gave the boys a rough outline idea to follow. They should have it in their notes.
Read Lesson 28, take notes and vocab + definitions. Answer "What Did We Learn" with a parent.
I gave the boys a choice of Extra Credit: 1 full typed page on either George Washington Carver or Crop Rotation, one or the other, not both. This goes along with what we learned in Lesson 27 in class today. Also learn 4 more elements for a quiz on Nov. 30th. We'll be reviewing Lessons 25-28 for the next test.
