The boys have a take home test this week which is due Friday. It should remain stapled until he is ready to take it and a parent signature is required ensuring honesty. We reviewed in class and I gave a written review of all 4 lessons as preparation for the test. If your child does well with my review, he should be well prepared for the test. Make sure to review p. 108 on Organic Farming and the questions/controversies surrounding this type of farming. Genetically Modified Organisms - GMO's are a questionable food source currently in the news.
Also due: 1 typed page, double spaced summary on Sir Alexander Fleming. There is a 2 page spread after Lesson 28.
The Word Outline and Bibliography for our research paper are due Friday.
I am extending our plant growing with fertilizer another 2 weeks. The write up will be due Dec 14th.
Continue reviewing the elements and learn through Iodine. We will have another quiz next week.
