PARENTS: I gave the students a worksheet for Lesson 20, but we will be postponing this assignment. I don't want you to rush out to buy a candy thermometer to do it.
I had difficulty finding a book on our chosen scientist. If you are not able to find a book, call me so we can discuss changing your scientist. I'm hoping the boys will each have a different one.
FOR TUES:
Read Lesson 20, take notes, write vocab + definitions. Complete the worksheets we started in class about chemical reactions. Learn 5 more elements: Cn-Copernicium, Co-Cobalt, Cr-Chromium, Cs-Caesium, Cu-Copper. Review all previous elements. We will have a quiz on 20 of my choice. Misspelled elements will have deductions.
We'll be playing our Jeopardy game after going over Lesson 20 in class in preparation for the test Fri.
FOR FRIDAY:
Make corrections to your Bioceramics paper. Follow my suggestions and make sure you use the information from your science book if it isn't already included in your paper. Try to reword what you read in your own words.
